Church Life

At Gorse Hill Baptist Church we believe that church goes beyond just Sundays. We have a wide range of groups and events that happen throughout the week. These provide a great opportunity to get to know people better and further our relationship with God.

Sunday Services – Find out what happens here on a Sunday, and the styles of our services.

Children – We strongly believe that children play a vital part in our church. We have a variety of groups to suit different ages.

Youth – Children become youth so we have specific groups to cater for this age.

Prayer – This is a crucial part of our church life. We believe that with prayer, we can see lives changed. Find out how. There are a number of issues we are currently praying about.

Small Groups - Life is busy and it can be difficult for people to get to know one another on a Sunday and really feel supported and encouraged. Small groups meet this need as well as provide the opportunity to grow in discipleship.

ReCreate – A series of art and craft events for children, parents and others. ReCreate stands for re-creation in body, mind, spirit and soul.

Alpha – Want to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting? Then Alpha could be for you.

Social – There are lots of different social activities that happen at GHBC. Find out what you can get involved with!
